Mike Epps' natural comedic ability was encouraged at an early age, and he began performing standup as a teenager. His act is often raunchy and brutally honest, combining stories from his youth with modern-day observations and social commentary.
Epps earned a large portion of his fame through feature films including co-starring as Day-Day in Next Friday (also starring Chris Tucker), How High (with Redman and Method Man), Friday After Next and All About the Benjamins. Epps has also starred in "Def Comedy Jam" in 1995 and later hosted the show in 2006. In 2007, his one-hour comedy special, "Inappropriate Behavior," aired on HBO and was one of the network's top-rated one-hour specials of the year.
Even with a down-to-earth, likable style, Sheryl Underwood continues to push the envelope discussing sex, politics, current events and relationships. As a conservative woman, her show draws out bold reactions from even the most conservative crowds. Her controversial opinions as a sexually progressive, God-fearing, African-American Republican woman come across loud and clear on-stage much to the enjoyment of fans. As the 1994 BET's "Comic View's" Funniest Female Comedian, Underwood began her comedy show hosting career with BET's "Oh Drama!" and her very own show "Holla."
