Wednesday, Feb. 16, the department of campus recreation-wellness programs will present "Good Eats, Good Health" from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., in the Busch Student Center, first floor-lower level ballrooms.
"Good Eats, Good Health" is a guide to healthy food alternatives, businesses, and organizations that help promote living well in and around Saint Louis University.
Participating groups and restaurants will provide information, free samples and complementary menus to the SLU community.
This year's participants include: Little Saigon Cafe, Fresh Gatherings, Billiken Dining Services, Urban Eats Cafe, Simon Rec Center Juice Bar, Costco, Vito's, Comfort Shoe Specialists, Overeaters Anonymous, St. Louis Community Credit Union, The Natural Way, American Diabetes Association, St. Louis County Department of Health, Fleet Feet Sports, Upper Limits Climbing Gym, Clearpoint Credit Counseling Solutions, and SLU Tai Chi Society, Fencing, Softball, Kayak, and Karate sports clubs.
Giveaway prizes include gift certificates from The Melting Pot, Fleet Feet Sports and Comfort Shoe Specialists!
The event is free and open to the University community.
