Allies for Inclusion: The Ability Exhibit
The Ability Exhibit is a traveling interactive display designed to develop allies for people with disabilities. It is an affordable learning experience for all general populations. The exhibit is easy to ship and can be set up in a few hours. It provides ten interactive stations designed to build awareness about people with disabilities and the disability movement.
Ability Ally Project
The Ability Ally Project is now available! The Ability Ally Project is a specialized training designed to educate faculty, staff, and students on how they can be allies for disability inclusion. Participants will learn how to create environments inclusive for students with disabilities. The training includes a range of interactive activities to engage participants as well as discussions about disability-related topics including person-first language, universal design and the disability movement. Upon completion of the training, participants can choose to display an Ability Ally placard at their work space or wear a wristband identifying them as an Ability Ally.
