These two inventories are offered free of charge to Saint Louis University law students and alumni. They are not "tests" per se, but inventories that offer the person taking them a chance to learn more about his or her personal interests, personality preferences and favored environments. Like all other communication with the Career Services Office, the outcomes are strictly confidential.
These inventories can be helpful as you decide which areas of law to pursue. The Strong Interest Inventory takes approximately 10-20 minutes to complete, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Contact the Career Services Office to determine a time to take these inventories, as they must be conducted on site. After the tests are completed and Hensley interprets the results, students meet with Hensley for an appointment (about one and a half hours) to discuss her findings. The Career Services Office will contact you to schedule the appointment when the results are available.
