Google Classes for SLU Staff & Faculty:
E-mail class provides participants with an overview of SLU's e-mail system capabilities and is beneficial for both novice and experienced e-mail users.
Participants learn to automatically organize incoming mail using labels and filters, search archived messages more efficiently, manage multiple accounts and more. A recent e-mail class participant commented, "Before attending this class, I was totally unaware of how organized your job can be by having an organized email. Following up on certain aspects of your job and brought to your attention at the beginning of your work day when you access your email upon arriving in the office. It more or less organizes the rest of your day."
In addition to E-mail, information technology services offers a variety of free classes focused on other resources faculty and staff use every day: calendar, documents/spreadsheets/forms and sites.
Classes are designed for hands-on learning and are held on both the north and south ends of campus. Each session is limited to 20 participants, so register today at http://goo.gl/yTLaS.
