The Department of Neurology and Psychiatry will host Grand Rounds for both divisions from 8-9 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at the School of Medicine, Schwitalla Hall, lecture hall 1.
Entry to the Medical School is only through the Learning Resource Center (LRC), 3544 Caroline Mall, 63104.
CJ Jos, M.D., will present "Famous Physicians and Famous Patients."
Jos received his medical training in India, training in neurology and psychiatry in England and became board certified in psychiatry from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Currently, Jos is professor in the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry.
He retired from St. Louis VA Medical Center in 1988 as chief of psychiatry.
Jos is the author of several scientific publications and two books.
The Grand Rounds on March 24, will review the history of neurology and psychiatry, identifying some of the physicians who played a role in it and the patients who took part in it.
