Kaia Stern, Ph.D., of Harvard University, will present "A Dialogue on Theology and Humanity" from 1-3 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the visitor's center at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center (ERDCC)
Kaia Stern, Ph.D., is ordained as an interfaith minister and holds a doctorate in religion from Emory University.
She is the Director of the Prison Studies Project at Harvard University, chair of the Truth Commission on Conscience in War at The Riverside Church, a keystone group member of the Department of Justice's Norval Morris Project, and currently teaches in the Department of African and African-American Studies at Harvard.
Her work focuses on human rights, liberation theologies, ethics, interfaith praxis, punishment and transformative justice.
