Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in this year's Relay For Life, benefiting the American Cancer Society. The relay will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in Robert R. Hermann Stadium.
Relay For Life is an annual event held on campus to celebrate survivorship, remember those we have lost to cancer, and empower those who have been touched by it to fight back.
The event will be launching it's "48K in 48 Hours" in preparation, a program aimed to raise $48,000 from March 31-April 1.
The person who raises the most money will receive a FREE Southwest Airlines ticket.
Faculty and staff can form their own team, join an existing one, volunteer for the event, or make a general donation by visiting www.slurelay.org.
