The Department of Psychology is conducting a research study under the direction of Christopher M. Conway, Ph.D., to understand the development of cognitive abilities in children. The research study is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.
Children aged 8-10 years old who are native speakers of English, have normal hearing, and no known cognitive, psychological, or neural impairment are invited to participate in this research study.
If children qualify, they will wear an electrode sensor net that records brain responses during the performance of computerized learning and language tasks.
Compensation will be $40 for 1.5 hours of testing.
In a second session, qualified children will receive an additional $50 for completing several standardized tests of memory and language skills.
If you would like your child to participate in this study, please call 314-977-2628, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
