The Mission Brown Bag series continues next Thursday, April 14, with "Imagining Jesus," presented by John Padberg, S.J. (IJS). The program is held noon-1 p.m. in the Knights Room, Pius XII Library.
Padberg, an international scholar and director of the Institute of Jesuit Sources, will extend Ignatius' invitation to use one's imagination in developing a relationship with God, and will tell about some of the very large number and sometimes extraordinary images given to God and Jesus by believers through the millennia.
The Mission Brown Bag series is a monthly reflection on SLU's Jesuit mission and its Ignatian values. It is sponsored by Mission and Ministry.
The program is open to all members of the University community. Bring a lunch and a friend.
