- Thomas Hull, Ph.D.
- Western New England College
This talk will involve an overview of what origami is as an art form, an interactive exploration of some "origami theorems" (like Maekawa's Theorem), a presentation about how such math can be used to design origami models, and how the mathematics of folding has been applied to engineering and design.
The lecture will be held from 4-5:45 p.m. Friday, April 29, in Lee Auditorium/Lecture Halls, in conjunction with the 2011 award ceremony for the Department of Math and Computer Science.
