Heritage Foundation Budget Analyst to Speak at Saint Louis University Tuesday, May 3

The Show-Me Institute, Saint Louis University's John Cook School of Business and the Sinquefield Charitable Foundation will host the seventh in a speaker series on economic policy Tuesday, May 3, at the University's Anheuser-Busch Auditorium, 3674 Lindell Blvd. The event is free and open to the public however reservations are required.
Brian Riedl, lead budget analyst at the Heritage Foundation, will present "What Washington Won't Tell You About the Next Economic Crisis." Riedl will provide a breakdown of federal spending per household and discuss whether Missourians feel they are getting their money's worth.
The event begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by the presentation at 7 p.m.
Parking is available in the University garages at Compton and Olive or Grand and Laclede.

About Brian Riedl: Lead budget analyst for the Heritage Foundation, Riedl has a built a solid reputation for interpreting, explaining and reforming the often arcane realm of federal budget policy.
Much of the current backlash against runaway federal spending can be attributed to Riedl's work. In 2002 and 2003, his writings exposed the beginnings of a federal spending spree that was pushing spending to more than $30,000 per household for the first time since World War II.
Riedl participates in the bipartisan "Fiscal Wake-Up Tour" which holds town hall meetings across America focusing on the looming Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid crisis.
