‘Run for Their Lives’ 5K Run/WalkEvent Details: 9:00 a.m., April 30, Clock Tower
Do you desire to make a difference? Do you want to participate in a lively event supporting pregnant and parenting students here on SLU's Campus?
Well, lace up those running shoes (or walking shoes or skipping shoes) for the Fifth Annual Run for Their Lives 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 30, starting at the clock tower located on the West Pine Mall.
The event is sponsored by Saint Louis University's Students for Life.
The fee is $15 for those who register before April 30 and $20 to register on the morning of the event.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Virginia D. Murphy Endowment for Pregnant and Parenting Students Assistance program which was established by SFL in October 2008, having raised over $65,000 since. However, $150,000 is needed to reach our goal to provide assistance to more students, so that no one has to choose between having a child or having an education.
Not only will the run be a fun, community-oriented event, but your help and participation is needed to support pregnant and parenting students who receive support through the Pregnant and Parenting Student Assistance Program. \
Students for Life is an organization committed to upholding the fundamental right to life on the campus of Saint Louis University.
