Remaining in Good Standing
To remain in good standing with the University Honors Program:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. If a student's cumulative GPA drops below 3.5, the student will be notified of Honors probationary status and will work with an Honors advisor to develop an improvement plan. The student is expected to improve his or her GPA at the end of the probationary semester to reestablish good standing with the University Honors Program. A failure to return to good standing will result in dismissal from the Program.
- Earn Honors credits every year. In order to complete the Program requirements by graduation, students must make consistent, intentional progress through the Program.
Use the formula to determine your current GPA. This can be used to predict how individual grades might affect an overall GPA. Meet with your Honors academic advisor if you have any questions about your academic standing.
