Distribution of Diplomas
Diplomas will be available for a 2 week period after the academic department clears a student for graduation and there are no outstanding financial obligations.
Students will receive email notification when their Diploma is available for pickup.
We prefer that you personally pick up your diploma, but you may authorize another individual through a signed letter stating the designated person. This person will be able to pick up your diploma by presenting a picture ID along with the signed letter.
Diplomas will be automatically mailed (via USPS) to the address provided on the graduation application after the 2 week pick-up period.
If you receive your diploma and it is either damaged or mis-printed, or if you do not receive your diploma within 4 to 6 weeks of the mailing date specified above please contact the Office of the University Registrar at 314.977.2269 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
To re-order a diploma please utilize the Duplicate Diploma Order Form and follow the instructions located on the form.
Beginning with the Summer of 2008 all Saint Louis University diplomas are printed in English.
Prior to this date diplomas were printed in either English or Latin dependent on the College or School awarding the degree. View Latin translation here.
All Duplicate Diplomas will now be printed in English regardless of convention at the time of your graduation.
