The College for Public Health & Social Justice has numerous scholarships which assist students in funding their education. Generous support from alumni and friends have established these funds. To add your financial support to these funds, write the name of the fund on the memo section or your check, or type in the name of the fund on the online giving form.
|Thomas C. Dolan Fund||This fund was established in honor of Dr. Thomas Dolan, a leader in Health Care Administration. The fund provides scholarships
for public health students.
|John J. Flanagan, S.J. Fund||This fund was established in honor of Fr. Flanagan, S.J. by alumni of the Health Administration Program in the School of Public Health to benefit public health students.|
|Leahy-Kannaday Endowed Scholarship||This fund was established by Gerald P. Leahy (PH 61) and his daughter Colleen M. Leahy- Kannady (PH 91) for students in the Master’s in Public Health Program.|
|MPH Scholarship Fund||This fund was created to provide assistance to students in the Master in Public Health Program.|
|Mary Levy Tribute Award||This fund was established by the friends and family of Mary Levy, a former doctoral student in the School of Public Health. The award is for students in the doctoral program in health research.|
|Bruno and Vivienne Mazzotta Scholarship Fund||This fund was established by Bruno and Vivienne Mazzotta to provide financial assistance to a graduate student in the Master of Health Administration program in the School of Public Health.|
|Sister Mary Jean Ryan Endowed Scholarship||This fund provides scholarship assistance to a first-year graduate student who has been accepted into the MHA or MPH program in the School of Public Health.|
|Thomas Underriner Fund||This fund was established in honor of Thomas Underriner (PH 57) for scholarships for Health Administration students in the School of Public Health.|
|The Marylee Chaski Public Health Practitioner Scholarship||This scholarship was established by H. Douglas Adams PhD, and Hilda Chaski Adams, MPH in memory of Hilda’s Mother, Marylee Chaski who was an elementary school teacher dedicated to the health and well being of all her students. The scholarship is awarded annually to a part time student who is enrolled in the Masters in Public Health.|
If you are a student seeking financial aid, please direct all questions regarding the awarding of scholarships to the Office of Financial Aid. The Advancement Division does not award scholarships.
