Information technology services, in conjunction with human resources, has announced a new training opportunity: Google Apps Boot Camp.
Google Apps Boot Camp covers six popular Google training topics in one day. The sessions are designed for staff members interested in learning the ins and outs of Saint Louis University's communication and collaboration systems at an accelerated pace.
Google Apps Boot Camp involves hands-on learning, and each attendee is assigned an individual computer work station. You'll create event invitations, organize spreadsheet information, build a form, construct a web site and more.

The only prerequisite for training is a Google Apps account. Whether you are new to Google or a seasoned veteran, Google Apps Boot Camp is a great opportunity to hone your technical skills before the fall semester begins.
Click here to register for either of the Google Apps Boot Camp sessions currently available Thursday, Aug. 4, or Tuesday, Aug. 16. Remember, everything will be covered in one day, so only register for one of the sessions. Each session meets from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in Wool Center room 372, and includes a one-hour lunch break. Class size is limited to 15.
