Join the university community in welcoming Saint Louis University alumnus Francis Slay, mayor of the City of St. Louis, to campus for a discussion on building an inclusive community in St. Louis.

The mayor will highlight the importance of university students, faculty and staff to the growth and well-being of the city and how the city is working to get students and young persons involved in city life.
The event also will feature Kripa Sreepada, vice president of the Student Government Association; Ray Quirolgico, assistant vice president of student development; and several mayoral staff members.
The program will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug.30, in the Carlo Auditorium of Tegeler Hall.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Office of the Mayor and SLU's Center for Service and Community Engagement, Student Government Association and Great Issues Committee. The event is open to the community.
