The Service Leadership program at the John Cook School of Business has entered Monsanto's "Grow St. Louis" contest.
To enter the contest, SLU was required to tell Monsanto, in 300 words or less, how their project (7th Annual John Cook School of Business Service Day) will help grow St. Louis.
The purpose of the annual Service Day is to build community and to fulfill the Jesuit Mission of service to others.
Each year students, faculty, and staff in the John Cook School of Business volunteer to provide various services to the St. Louis community.
The 7th Annual JCSB Service Day will take place Friday, March 30, 2012, and the contest award money would be used to help the tentatively chosen site, Caroline Mission, spruce up its facility.
The winners of the Monsanto Grow St. Louis contest will be awarded based on the number of votes received. 1st Place - $15k, 2nd Place - $10k and 3rd Place - $5k. So your votes will help!
