Edward P. Weiss, Ph. D, assistant professor in the department of nutrition and dietetics, is seeking volunteers for a research study investigating the effects of diet and exercise on disease risk and markers of aging.
Study volunteers must be non-exercising adults between 45 and 65 years of age, mildly to moderately overweight (with a body mass index between 25 and 29.9), free of major diseases, including diabetes, and non-smokers. Diet and exercise counseling will be included free of charge to study participants.
