The Transportation Services Department will be hosting an alternative transportation fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Busch Student Center.
Want to learn more about carpooling to campus or taking public transportation to get to work? Representatives from Metro Transit, RideFinders, Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT) and TrailNet will be on hand to provide information. The department also will be available to discuss the University's shuttle system and other internal transportation services.
"Today's focus on gas prices and environmental and sustainability issues have brought increasing attention to alternative transportation," said Tom West, director of Transportation Services. "We want to remind everyone about the transportation options and services that are available to members of the SLU community."
The Billiken Shuttle Service is available for faculty, staff, students and SLU visitors
