The Saint Louis University School of Law will host a panel, "Bargining in the Big Leagues," on sports labor, collective bargaining, negotiations and related issues from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 in room 303 in Morrissey Hall. A reception will follow the panel discussion.
Anyone with an interest in employment and labor law, human resources, negotiations, arbitration, as well as international comparative research, is invited to attend this session.
The keynote address will be delivered by Gabriel Feldman, professor, associate provost for compliance and director of the nationally acclaimed sports law program at Tulane Law School. Feldman is an authority on antitrust law matters. His analysis of the American Needle United States Supreme Court case is compelling and frequently sought after by media outlets. He is regularly asked to present research and legal analysis on contemporary labor relations.
Feldman will be joined by SLU law professor Matt Bodie, union attorney Art Martin, management attorney Bob Wallace and Anastasios Kaburakis, Ph.D., assistant professor at John Cook School of Business.
