The Academic Advising and Faculty Mentoring community now have an additional resource that will help them in their work with students. A new Google Site called, "Integrated Advising and Faculty Mentoring," has been added to the Saint Louis University library of Google Sites and is available for viewing to any member of the SLU community.
The Integrated Advising and Faculty Mentoring Google site will house important information such as commonly used forms and contacts, frequently asked questions, as well as tips on successful meetings.
Faculty mentors can access this site to learn how to look up their mentee list, verify that they have met with a student or even learn how to send out an Early Warning for one of their students. The hope is that this site becomes a living, breathing resource that both faculty mentors and academic advisors are using regularly to improve their meetings with students.
While the integrated advising and mentoring Google Site currently holds a plethora of information, we hope that these resources will continue to grow. If a member of the advising and mentoring community has any additional items to share, or would like specific things included, please contact Lisa Israel at firstname.lastname@example.org or 314-977-8506 to
To access the site, go through the Google Site search or visit the Academic Advising web site and click on "Internal Resources."
