The Office of Research Development and Services is pleased to present the second faculty-led panel, "An Inside Look: National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)/American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) and Other Private Funders," at 3-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, in room 142 of Adorjan Hall.
Please join us for a discussion featuring Saint Louis University principal investigators who will share their experience as reviewers and successful applicants, guiding others in the dos and don'ts for preparing competitive applications to target sponsors.
Discussion will be facilitated by ORDS Director Sheila Lischwe, Ph.D., history faculty members Silvana Siddali, Ph.D., Mark Ruff, Ph.D., and Hal Parker, Ph.D., and theological studies faculty member Jim Ginther, Ph.D.
The goal of this session is to highlight key grantsmanship "to-dos" to best position projects for funding. Faculty panelists will share their thoughts on the qualities of fundable proposals, and Lischwe will share resources available to investigators in preparation stages, common mistakes to avoid and helpful techniques to employ.
Discussion attendants will encouraged to share their suggestions and recommendations, as well.
