Faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni are encouraged to sign up to participate in the 2011 Saint Louis University Make A Difference Day to be held on Saturday, Oct. 29. Registration is open now thru Oct. 16.
The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a kick-off ceremony at the Robert Hermann Soccer Stadium. Founder and CEO of the National Campus Kitchen, Robert Egger, will be delivering the keynote.
Volunteers will be provided with breakfast, lunch, water and a T-shirt. Participants may register as a group (department, student organization, etc.) or as an individual. For more information and to sign up, please visit the Make a Difference Day web page.
Last year, a record 2,778 SLU community members volunteered at 121 sites across the St. Louis area. SLU's event is recognized as one of the largest collegiate days of service in the nation.
