The Department of Neurology and Psychiatry will host separate Grand Rounds sessions at 8-9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in two different locations.
The neurology session will be held in Lecture Hall 1 of Schwitalla Hall. Stanley Iyadurai, M.D., Ph.D., will present "Neurology M & M Session." This is a closed program and presentation is open only to neurology physicians in the Saint Louis University Department of Psychiatry and Neurology.
The psychiatry session will be held in Classroom A located in the basement level in Monteleone Hall. (Entry to the building is only from Chaddock parking lot in the rear of the building.)
Kelly Gable, Pharm. D, will present: "Pharmacology of Personality Disorders." Gable is assistant professor within the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Pharmacy. She is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry.
Gable joined the SIUE School of Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland. She is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi, and subsequently completed a specialty residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice at the University of Southern California.
Gable is a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist. Her clinical appointment is with Community Alternatives in St. Louis, Mo., where she works collaboratively with psychiatry in the treatment of persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
