The Division of Student Development and the Reinert Center for Teaching Excellence are pleased to present a workshop by Michele DiPietro, Ph.D., co-author of How Learning Works: Seven Research-Based Principles for Smart Teaching from 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, in the Sinquefield Stateroom in DuBourg Hall.
DiPietro will present theories of learning and student development and invite faculty and staff to deepen their understanding of students' holistic intellectual and social development. In this interactive workshop, participants will work collaboratively to consider how knowledge of these theories can enhance student learning both in and out of the classroom.
This event is open to all faculty, graduate students and staff. Light refreshments will be served.
Registration is required and can be done at the CTE web site.
