The Department of Modern and Classical Languages, in conjunction with the Regional Collaboration in Languages and Cultures (RCLC), will host a diversity and language learning discussion panel from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in the Student Government Chambers of the Millennium Student Center at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Pascale Perraudin, Ph.D., associate professor of French literature, will present "Diversifying French Curriculum"; Lauren Schmidt, Ph.D., assistant professor of Hispanic linguistics at UMSL, will present "The Role of Dialectal Variation in Second Language Learning"; and RCLC language faculty will present "Service-Learning in the Language Curriculum."
