Billiken Dining Services has wrapped up two festive events this week and has many more planned for the near future.
On Halloween, Reinhert and Griesedieck dining halls hosted the Halloween BooFay, featuring scary Halloween food, such as potato ghosts and bloody beets. Students were welcome to eat in costume and many commented on the spider webs, tombstones, pumpkins and creepy mannequins decorating the halls.
Billiken Dining will host another event for Thanksgiving on Monday, Nov. 14, and plan to do meals for every holiday thereafter.
On Oct. 26, Billiken Dining celebrated the reopening of Fusz Hall's food court by declaring it Fusz Day and offering samples of their new menu items. The event also featured prizes, including an iPod Touch and a mountain bike, and music provided by a DJ from KSLU.
Billiken Dining will be hosting another event at Fusz on Nov. 9, with more music and more prizes.
