Please join the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at their November Brown Bag Session, "Subject Safety: Requirements for Reporting Events Related to Safety," from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in room 113 in the Learning Resources Center.
This session will discuss the requirements for reporting events related to subject safety to the IRB, including the different types of reportable events, common examples of each type, how the IRB's requirements may differ from what the study sponsor requires, as well as other safety issues to consider, the mechanics of reporting within the eIRB system, and the release of the new, clarified IRB safety reporting guidance.
