Program in Health Sciences
The expertise and skill of faculty and staff will lend to an environment characterized by flexibility; mutual support; sensitivity to diversity; openness and respect among students, faculty and staff; and a commitment to the ideals of lifelong learning and service excellence within the Catholic and Jesuit traditions. The education of the "whole person," (mind, body and spirit) coupled with a solid health sciences foundation will guide these future professionals to success.
The faculty shares the Jesuit commitment to apply knowledge to the service of humanity and fosters an environment that develops an attitude for service to others, effective interpersonal relationships, leadership skills, and insight into societal and individual health care needs. Clinically active faculty serve as role models as they interact with the developing new professionals of the future.
