Shankar Sharma, Ph.D., Ambassador of Nepal to the United States, will be the guest speaker at Saint Louis University's John Cook School of Business Dean's Breakfast Tuesday, Dec. 6, in John and Lucy Cook Hall, 3674 Lindell Blvd.

The event begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. followed at 8 a.m. by Sharma's presentation, "Nepal-USA Relations and Economic Opportunities." The program concludes with a Q&A session.
The program is free and open to the public however registration is required. Parking is available in the University garages located at Grand and Laclede or Olive and Compton.
About Shankar Sharma: Currently Ambassador of Nepal to the United States, Shankar Sharma has extensive experience in government, international institutions and economic research. Before joining the National Planning Committee as a member in 1997, he worked as a senior economic advisor in Nepal's Ministry of Finance. He also was senior economist at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore and a Fellow in the East-West Center in Hawaii. Sharma also served as a professor of economics at the Centre for Economic Development and Administration at Tribhuvan University.
