Following the conclusion of the 2013 Summer Series CLE, please join SLU LAW alumni, faculty, staff & students for another chance to say farewell to Frost Campus with a happy hour at Humphrey's. Light appetizers will be served and attendees will receive 2 drink tickets.
This mediation training is offered in both a 16-hour and a 40-hour format. Those completing the 16-hour format will meet the qualifications for mediators pursuant to Missouri Supreme Court Rule 17, and those completing the 40-hour format will meet the qualifications for mediators pursuant to Supreme Court Rules 17 and 88. This will be an interactive class that combines didactic presenatations, active input from the participants, and role play opportunities. Rebecca T. Magruder, an experienced mediator in private practice who is also an adjunct assistant professor of mediation at SLU LAW, will teach the class. Participants in the 16-hour training will recieive 16 hours of Missouri CLE credit, including 1 hour of ethics credit. Participants in the 40-hour training will recieve 40 hours of Missouri CLE credit, including 2.4 hours of ethics credit.
16-hour training: Friday, Aug. 9 and Saturday, Aug. 10, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
40-hour training: The 16-hour training dates, plus Sunday, Aug. 11, Friday, Aug. 16 and Saturday, Aug. 17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The training will take place in the SLU LAW Clinics Office.
