Researchers from Saint Louis University's Departments of Psychology and Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice will present results of a community-based research project comparing health concerns and needs among immigrant (Bosnian and Chinese) and U.S.-born older adults in St. Louis. An open discussion will follow.
Presentations will be delivered in three different languages (English, Bosnian and Chinese) and at three different locations.
The English forum will be held from 4-5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, in room 353 in the Busch Student Center.
The Bosnian forum will be held from 6:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Islamic Community Center, 4666 Lansdowne Ave, St. Louis, Mo., 63116.
The Chinese forum will be held from 10-11:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 12, at the St. Louis Christian Chinese Community Service Center, 8225 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, Mo., 63132.
The project was funded through Saint Louis University's President's Research Fund special funding mechanism supported by the Center for Service and Community Engagement.
