Transfer Admission Requirements
A transfer student is defined as any student who has earned 26 or more credit hours from an accredited college or university. Direct admission for transfer students requires a 2.5 cumulative grade point average with a 2.5 average in math and science course work. Applicants who do not meet these criteria should still apply to be evaluated on an individual basis. Transfer applicants will be accepted on the basis of clinical site availability.

The Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science welcomes international students from across the globe and is recognized as one of the more diverse departments in the Doisy College of Health Sciences. International students must contact SLU's Office of International Services for information about:
- Transcript Evaluation
- English Evaluation and TOEFL Testing (80 minimum)
- Math and Science placement
All applicants must meet the professional performance standards required for the profession and prepare documentation of visual acuity and absence of color blindness.
