Payroll Services and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) will begin processing the 2011 Wage and Tax Statements (W-2) after Jan. 1, 2012. In order to ensure the accuracy of the W-2 Statements, all employees are asked to log into Banner Self Service and verify their permanent address.
For convenience, when employees log into Banner Self Service, they will immediately be directed to the "View Addresses and Phones," unless they have not previously confirmed their emergency contact preference or ethnicity.
Anyone who has not previously confirmed their emergency contact preference or ethnicity will first be directed to the "Update Phones - Select Type" page and/or the "Update Ethnicity and Race" page. Once those responses have been submitted, they will be redirected to the "View Addresses and Phones" page in Banner Self Service.
Permanent address information must be verified by Jan. 7 to assure accurate address information on the 2011 W-2 Statement. Address changes made after Jan. 7 may not be reflected on the 2011 W-2 Statement.
