Volunteers Needed for Study on Learning, Memory, Stress
The Department of Psychology at Saint Louis University is seeking healthy volunteers for a research study on learning strategies, memory and stress. Men and women, between the ages of 18-30, with no history of neurological or psychiatric disorders and who are not taking prescribed daily medications (excluding allergy medications) are invited to participate.
This study involves using various learning strategies, memory tests, measurements of hormones from saliva, recording of heart rate and a possible induction of a stressful situation.
The study requires two sessions in the afternoon, 24 hours apart. The first session lasts approximately two hours and the second session lasts approximately one hour, for combined total of three hours of participation. After completion of the study, participants will be reimbursed $30 for time and travel.
