Dee Anna Glaser, M.D., is recruiting children and adolescents for an eyelash growth study.
Children are eligible to participate in the research study if they are healthy and between the ages of 15-17 years old; have a diagnosis of alopecia areata and are between ages 5-17 years old; or have finished receiving chemotherapy and are between ages 5-17 years old. Children will also be required to have their parent's or legal guardian's written consent and must also satisfy other study entry requirements (as evaluated by study site staff).
Participants will receive an investigational topical medication and may receive $75 per visit (or up to $525 at the end of the study). The study will last five months and will include six to seven visits to the study site.
Additionally, participants may receive, at no cost, study medication, study-related eye exams, study related physical exams and compensation for time and travel.
