Making Achievement Possible
MAP-Works, a comprehensive online student survey touching on categories
of student success ranging from classroom experiences to feeling a sense
of belonging on and connectedness to campus, enhances a student's ability
to be more successful in college. It provides strategies for success with
customized, relevant information to help you get the most out of your first year
As the name implies, MAP-Works (Making Achievement Possible) is designed
to help make your achievement possible at SLU. It will help you understand how you are acclimating to the university, what challenges lie ahead, and what services are available to help you meet those challenges. Your participation will result in a personalized report written to and about you, as well as a report for staff to whom you might be connected and who are working, along with many others, to help you achieve success in your first year. This personalized report includes feedback and helpful information
regarding meeting expectations, peer thoughts, success in college and campus resources.
The MAP-Work survey is available to freshmen at SLU via email invitation to your SLU email address. The survey is administered twice during the Fall semester. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Dr. Shelley Sawalich, Director of Academic Support, in the Student Success Center at (314) 977-3484 or email at email@example.com.
