University Marketing and Communications recently won several 2012 Institutional Awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), District VI. CASE is a professional association serving educational institutions and those who work in alumni relations, communications, development and marketing.
"The judges commended a wide variety of our projects, from design to writing to media placement," said Clayton Berry, assistant vice president for communications. "This recognition truly shows the depth and breadth of the Marcom team."
In all, the office earned 11 awards: seven gold, three silver and one bronze. Examples of Marcom's award-winning work include the 2011 University Calendar, the 2011 University Viewbook and the "Be a Billiken" recruitment advertising campaign.
"We are so pleased to see the Marcom staff honored for excellent work," said Laura Geiser, assistant vice president for marketing and creative services. "Every day we work to raise the profile Saint Louis University, and it's gratifying when those efforts are noticed."
