Seniors Receive Happy Valentine's From University Organizations
The Office of Community Relations, Campus Kitchen and the Center for Service and Community Engagement ensured that residents at Senior Living at Renaissance Place had a happy and healthy Valentine's Day.
Community Relations received more than 700 donated items, including toiletries, chocolates and candies, with which they made 152 Valentine's Day baskets for members of the St. Louis community.
Campus Kitchens also supplied more than 75 heart-healthy Valentine's Day meals, and the Center for Service and Community Engagement provided handmade cards.
"The Office of Community Relations would like to thank everyone who donated items for the elderly this Valentine's Day," said Peg Weathers, assistant vice president of Community Relations. "Thank you for making this holiday special for our local senior citizens."
