Teaching: Dr. Fuller has been teaching full-time for the last ten years at schools both in St. Louis and Denver, Colorado. She teaches in the undergraduate programs, both in the clinical and classroom environments. Currently she teaches Interprofessional Education (IPE) and Adult Health but will soon be teaching a new undergraduate course at SLU, Comprehensive Nursing Care.
Practice: Dr. Fuller maintains current in clinical practice by working as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in a Family Practice office. Throughout her career as a nurse she worked with adults in a variety of settings including: med-surg, out-patient surgery, home-health, cardiac step-down and intensive care.
Research: Dr. Fuller is interested in looking at using standardized testing to measure educational outcomes in undergraduate nursing education.
Professional and Scholarly Activities: Dr. Fuller is a member of Saint Louis Nurses in Advanced Practice (SNAP), the American College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP), and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF). She has served as a reviewer for several nursing textbooks. She also serves as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner students. In her spare time she volunteers as a nurse practitioner at Casa de Salud.
