Patrick P. Yeung, Jr., M.D., has joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health and founder and director of the Saint Louis University Center for Endometriosis. Dr. Yeung earned his medical degree from Queen's University, Canada. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University Medical Center and a residency in family practice at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, followed by fellowships in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and in the laparoscopic excision of endometriosis at the University of Louisville, Ky., and the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta, Ga., respectively. He joins SLUCare from the Duke University Center for Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery, where he founded and directed the Duke Center for Endometriosis Research and Treatment.
Dr. Yeung is an attending physician at SSM St. Mary's Medical Center, Saint Louis University Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital, and has clinical expertise in the surgical excision of endometriosis, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, scarless surgery and robotic surgery. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities,Dr. Yeung has research interests in excision for endometriosis, adhesion prevention and laparoendoscopic single-site surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Yeung enjoys spending time with his young family. Dr. Yeung sees patients at the Bellevue Medical Office Building, 1031 Bellevue Ave., and the Saint Louis University Hospital West Pavilion, 3655 Vista Ave. Appointments can be made by calling (314) 977-7455 or
