SLU's Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp 2013
Saint Louis University's Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp is a week-long program engaging campers in gardening, cooking and nutrition activities. Campers prepare a variety of meals and work with professional chefs, registered dietitians, and master gardeners to learn principles of good nutrition, gardening and a healthy lifestyle.
Campers journey to local farms, encountering first-hand sustainable local agriculture. Each camp includes a Disability Awareness Day, helping campers learn what is involved when someone has a disability - how they adapt to cook and garden independently.
