The second annual Gender and Politics Conference at SLU was a great success. Catherine Hanaway, former Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives and former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, served as the keynote speaker at an event attended by over 125 people. There were panels on campaigns, gender and culture, women and executive power, sexuality and religion, and gender and international politics. Scholars came from around the U.S. to participate.
