The Center for Sustainability is pleased to announce its new Sustainability Research Fund (SRF). The SRF was established to support promising research projects that have strong potential to attract external grant funding. These internal awards are aimed at assisting in the collection of data that the applicant will use as the basis for an extramural grant or contract application. The SRF is being offered through the Saint Louis University Center for Sustainability.
The Center for Sustainability builds on the tradition of Jesuit leadership and service in its pursuit of interdisciplinary research, education and development that advance sustainable approaches to social, economic and environmental challenges across the globe. The Center values academic, business, community, and government partnerships in the search for innovative solutions that steward the earth's resources. To that end, the Center for Sustainability will support research on improving energy efficiency and alternative energy solutions; on understanding, predicting, and positively influencing global climate change; on preservation and replenishment of natural resources; on capacity and asset building; and on other innovations consistent with the Center's vision and mission
The Center will be accepting applications for SRF awards through July 2, 2012. For more details please see the SRF Application Process page.
