Multicultural Greek Council: Their presence on campus
Established in the fall of 2012, the Saint Louis University Multicultural Greek Council is comprised of nine city-wide chapters. All but one of the chapters are made up of students from many institutions across the St. Louis Area; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated is the only campus-based organization on SLU's campus. Since being officially established on SLU's campus, they are able to participate in all Greek events, host their own events, and are officially recognized by the university. The council hosted a Meet and Greet program this fall, which provided the opportunity for students to learn about the history and upcoming events for each chapter. Their presence on our campus allows us to have more leadership positions available and builds community with the Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council.
