Exchange Program - Germany
Frankfurt is home to 650,000 inhabitants (almost a third of whom are non-Germans) and many important economic and cultural sites. The city has 37 museums, 33 theaters and more than 50 cinemas, as well as other attractions. There are bars, cafes and restaurants scattered throughout the city.
In 1998, Frankfurt became home to the European Central Bank which controls the Euro monetary system. It is also the center for international transportation; it has the largest continental European airport and one of the busiest railway stations in Europe, allowing travel to almost anywhere.
