This month's question was submitted by Adrian G. Jones, Billing Representative: "How do I get virus protection/hacker proof security for my mobile device. I know there is security for laptops and computers, but what about for cell phones?”
Answer: Mobile devices use operating systems (OS) just like computers. Apple uses iOS, Windows phones use a Microsoft OS, Google and others use Android, and there are many more. The best thing you can do to keep your device safe is to keep the operating system up to date. For example, if Apple is pushing a new operating system, new features as well as new security are introduced. This applies to apps as well. Many apps have security flaws that are exposed, so keep your apps updated as well.
