We know you are looking for a great experience living on campus. Saint Louis University offers 5 different traditional residence halls where first year students and sophomores live in community. (Fusz, Marguerite, Pruellage, Reinert, and the Gries Complex) No matter where you live on campus the staff will be focused on your specific needs to help you get connected to the campus community and navigate your experience whether you are a first year student or returning for a second year.
First year students will benefit from some sophomores living in their residence hall. It is helpful to have students that have just experienced what you will be going through and they can lend you a hand or even offer some tips for success. First year students will have plenty of other first year students to get to know regardless of which of the 5 residence halls you reside in on campus. In each of these 5 residence halls there are Learning Community floors that first year students can select as well as non-Learning Community floors that first year students will live on. You will be able to find a connection with your peers in your building and on campus no matter what building you live in.
In the end, location doesn't impact your experience. It is the community that you create in partnership with your fellow residents that can help you have a great year!
